The Multiple Sclerosis Society

The Multiple Sclerosis Society was founded in 1953. It is the UK’s largest charity for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) – about 85,000 people in the UK.

The Society funds MS research, runs holiday homes and respite care, provides grants, and education and training on MS. It produces numerous publications on MS and runs a freephone specialist Helpline :-

MS Helpline: Specialist staff and trained volunteers are available to take calls between the hours of 9.00am and 9.00pm, Monday to Friday on a wide range of MS health issues. All calls are free (See number above).
