Bone, Joint or Muscle problems?

You can now see a Specialist Physiotherapist at the Surgery without seeing the GP first.  Your appointment may be face to face, via telephone, or video consultation.

The Specialist Physiotherapists are working closely with the GP’s and hospital services to give you quick access to high quality assessment and advice as  early as possible and to make sure if you do need to be referred on, you see the right person the first time.

You may be eligible for an appointment with a physiotherapist for the following problems:

  • All soft tissue injuries, sprains, strains or sports injuries
  • Arthritis – any joint
  • Possible problems with muscles, ligaments, tendons or bone, eg tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, ankle sprains
  • Spinal pain including lower back pain, mid-back pain and neck pain

They will be able to give you advice and exercises, investigate your condition and refer you onto other services (if necessary)

This service is not available for anyone under 16 years of age.

Georgia works at the Meadows Surgery on Thursdays  and Fridays.  If you would like to have an appointment please contact the surgery.
